grand strategy V.3 on windows 7

when downloading ceaw, it automatically starts to download the grand strategy 2.1 with it, i then tried to download grand strategy v.3 and it did not work, there is a short cut that simply reads slithcut with no image, i then tried again uninstalling everything and trying to have gs v.3 installed first then when prompted that it needs ceaw to play, i followed the link and let that install, still nothing, when trying to start the game a txt box flashes up and vanishes. im not tech savvy, usually stick to consoles so sorry about the terminology.

anyone have any ideas?

Sorry to hear you are having issue with CEAW.

Please uninstall the game and try to reinstall just the base game and check if it 's working. Then please report back.
