Bayonet armed infantry - an error?

Post by ravenflight »

Hi All,

I believe that there is an error in the forming square rules.

It states that it is only available to P&S and Spear armed troops. This seems rather 'wrong' to me. Especially in this period, isn't a bayonet equipped infantrymen effectively a musket armed infantryman -or- a spear armed infantryman?

I feel that the rules should include bayonet.

Thoughts?

I don't know, to be honest, but I would think as much as P&S they would have. 'All round defence' is a pretty standard kind of thing to try to arrange.
