New World War 2 Game

Thought for a new game that will try to capture the entirety and complexity of world war 2. It would involve uses part of the panzer corp model of keeping a core intact as well as having "prestige" for money, but with a twist.

The thought would be to have overarching theater's of operation, each with it's own air, naval and army corps. But you are in control of the country, and where to allocate these units. Units could not switch cores in battle but after in the "main" screen where you set up your forces, add new forces, and decide which theater make your next attack in, or defense in based on reconnaissance information. Also have a time penalty of transferring between the corps as it would in real life supply issues.

So each theater would have it's own core. It's from these cores that the battles would happen.

So a country such as America could be in many theater's at once such as, Western Europe, Africa, North Pacific, Central Pacific, South Pacific, China/Burma etc.

A player would also be able to choose to enter a certain theater or not. But there would be consequences if they did or did not. It should start in 1939 and have what units were available, and where they would have been located at that time. From there it is up to the player to decide where to attack or defend if attacked by the enemy.

I would think that the starting countries should be U.S., Germany, Japan, Great Britain, Russia and Italy. Maybe France as well.

The battle screens would run like Panzer Corps.
