Beta 1.2.0: City shrunk to size 0

This happened yesterday with Pandora 1.2.0 Beta. I had no food and a negative food income. Then I founded a new city. On the next turn, it shrunk to size 0. Please have a look at the attached screenshot. However, after I got a positive food income on the next turn, it grew to size 1 and behaved normally.

As Lorenz, one of the main developers of Pandora, pointed out yesterday, this isn't a bug, it's a feature. So no action here is necessary.
