battle academy and close combat

Post by trojan63 »

Hi Community.....big NOOB here just bought BA and I'm having a blast playing MP I like playing with the birds eye view ala Close Combat. CC is a game that Iove to play but can't play online because no time for a RT kind of game. Is there any talk of of progaming a game like cc to have a nice MP PBEM (or server) like BA That would be great.

Any thoughts?

Close Combat is a realtime game, so PBEM isn't really something which is possible. You can of course play BA from a topdown view using the M key :)

Thanks for the reply. I know that about CC but I was just wishing that a game developer could make a game as detailed as CC and marry it to PBEM system like BA has is all. That would be a winner and a real money maker no? Maybe even a CMx2 killer. :)

Sounds like you're describing Steel Panthers? I think a remake of that is on almost all our wishlists! :)

I just googled it and you are right! I've been reading up on BA2 and am looking forward to that as well. Great job gentlemen.

:D What about West Front? If we're talking old school....
I think the best way to describe our operations to date is that they have violated every recognized principle of war.
