SIMPLE QUESTION

When a Heavy weapon wielder cancels the armour POA does that then mean he now has better armour as well ?
I had another question but 1st day back at work has befuddled the brain and I can't remmeber

No,

Heavy weapon cancels an enemy POA for having better armour, not their better armour. If you have better armour than your opponent then you still get the armour POA unless they have heavy weapons too.

I just remembered the other one,Poor troops with a general fighting I assume they reroll 1's and also 6's ?

No. They don't re-roll anything because the presence of the general makes them roll (for hits only) as if Average.
