Cannot see old campaigns after inst. the GC '42-'45 Add-On

Hi,

just bought the Panzer Corps Gold Edition an installed it without problems. The classified section showed all the '39-'42 extra campaigns. Also bought the Grand Campaign '42 - '45 Add-On. Needed a few tries to install it (kept crashing during the "Initializing" right at the start of the installation). Worked though. But after the installation I cannot see the 39-42 campaigns in the classified section anymore. Just the new ones from '42-'45.

What have I done wrong?

It doesn't sound like you have done anything wrong at all. Possibly the few crashes while installing the later DLC's broke something in the basic installation of the game. You could try to reinstall the '39-'42 DLCs and then use the newest patch ftp://ftp.matrixgames.com/pub/PanzerCor ... e-v122.zip to update your Panzer Corps.

Thanks for your quick answer. I reinstalled the Gold Edition and just updated the game to version 1.21 by downloading the patch and not using the button in the game menu. Afterwards all campaigns are visible. Even the Afrika Korps Installation worked.

Didn't work with Version 1.22 though (not possible to start the game).

Hmm i must admit i haven't come around to apply 1.22 myself yet but the only changes there affects mutliplayer so you should be fine playing solo with 1.21 for now. Still 1.22 should be working as a lot of people have installed it already and no one complained about the game not starting after this. Can you please report what exactly happens when you try to start the game after installing patch 1.22?

As the game is running now, I won't risk updating it to 1.22. During the update tries there were three files who couldn't be updated. One was the update.exe in the middle of the process, then two more exe files just before the end of the update. The pop up choices were try again (didn't work) or cancel. After clicking on cancel the installation went on.

As it was finished, it wasn't possible to start the game. After clicking on the icon, there was the error, that something is corrupted.

Not being able to update certain files, especially executables, can usually mean two things: Either you was trying to apply the update with Panzer Corps running in the background or your anti virus software is interfering somehow with the installation. If the first was possibly the case just a second update attempt with closed PC should work if not then you could try to temporary disable your virus software for the duration of the installation. I can understand tho if you rather stick with the working 1.21 version.
