Death of general

Hi

It is not very clear in the rules what happen to a general in the following cases :

- He is engaged in melee with a BG wich is broken and therefore destroyed during the pursuit : do the general die ?
- He is with a BG and this BG is broken and go out of the table during the rout move : do the general go out of the table ?

Not unless the enemy score a 10 to kill him.

- He is with a BG and this BG is broken and go out of the table during the rout move : do the general go out of the table ?

In the initial rout yes. In JAP routs no.
