CV spear net POA

I am not so sure I understand the mounted light spear net POA on impact . It just says "against any if no other net POAs" .

Does it mean : if the mounted unit has no other POAs oe if the cumulated POAs of both units is 0 .

( Did Ihear someone say : one of those sutid questions )

It means if all the other cumulated POAs of both sides cancel out to 0.

For example if you have Light Spear cavalry fighting MF Spearmen the Cv have a + PoA for fighting MF and the Spearmen have a + PoA so the net PoA is 0 so the Light Spear + PoA kicks in; but they wouldn't if the infantry were HF as the Cv would be on a net - PoA as they wouldn't get the PoA for fighting MF. (Hoping I've got the PoAs right there)
