Tournament experimental rules

Post by timmy1 »

In other threads there has been discussion of some (potentially) worthwhile experimental rules being in place with for army size or choice. It has been discussed that these should be trialled at competitions. Mention has been made of so doing at the BHGS Challenge.

May I strongly recommend not so doing. In the rankings that event plus Britcon are worth 50% more than all the others. I would strongly suggest trying them out at other BHGS events (not those with pre-set terrain). My input as someone who does the rankings. Up to the organisers if they wish to heed this advice.

I don't see why it shouldn't be used at The Challenge - its just a theme rule in an already themed competition, I don't think that the comp's ranking score is relevant.
