Miniature set

Hi,
I have to make a miniature set based upon the book immortals of meluha. The scene is Shiva and his craven with nandi arrived at the out skirts of Srinagar. Here there are icy mountains, dal lake, ancient army camp, trees, city walls, houses, roads. The story is happened around 1900 BC. I am student and i have to submit the miniature set before december 25. It is long shot view. Next year i have to make a game based upon one the these things. Because it is a long shot and so many things are there i think no so much detailing is required because i have to make the set in 3 by 2 feets.
I want help to make city walls, houses how it will look and what type of texture is used to feel it ancient time
