Unable to update/uninstall

So, a bit of an odd problem here. I downloaded and installed the game, the game checked for updates and tried to download them. Everything went fine until it got to the end of the download and froze. I eventually force-quit the updater (after waiting about 30 minutes). After that, I was able to launch the game, things worked fine. My game version said 1.0.0. Then I tried to get into a multiplayer game with someone, and was told that I'm missing an update. I launch the Pandora Updater and... all it says is Failed. Hit Retry, Failed again. I've checked port forwarding, disabled all security, put my computer on the DMZ, nothing worked. I tried to uninstall the game and reinstall... and NOW I see a problem. The uninstaller is unable to remove ANY files.

At this point, I'm betting that the update that got stuck managed to get partway through, and something is borked. Any suggestion on how to resolve this?

It sounds like an issue with the anti-virus. I have seen the same with Avast Free Antivirus.

The solution is to restart your PC and disable your AV or add exceptions for Pandora.

I'm having the same issue updating from 1.02 to 1.1.2 Only I never had it get stuck before. Both AV and Firewall have been disabled. PC is DMZ'd in router. It finds the update but says failed when I click update.

Edit: I can uninstall just fine it just won't update. Keeps finding the update then saying Failed.

You have to post a certain number of times in order for the site to be convinced that you didn't create an account for the sole purpose of advertising. I think the threshold was 5 posts. Look at this: Spam Here So You Can Post Links

Ok got it working. had to right click and run PandoraUpdater.exe as administrator.
