What is the logic behind Italian tank upgrade path?

Post by timek28 »

I've just upgraded my P26/40 into Panther D as if they are in same upgrade tree (gave some 200pp for that). While I like that I spent a lot less prestige this way, I don't know how is this logically possible (tanks don't resemble each other too much)?

Also I'm playing mod so maybe it has to do with mod settings?

If you are referring to my mod, all Italian purchaseable tanks are of the same family to compensate the lack of good armor, especially before the Panther appears.

Hi nikki :)

Yes I was referring to your RV 1 mod :) So that is not the case in original game I guess.

It makes sense though, especially in last mission since there is no way to keep up with ever improving allied armor unless something like that is possible. Good thing I didn't buy any T34s :)
