[IDEA] Step failure screen

Post by christophzeller »

Hey,
I think it would be nice to know what & where (equipment? which part? flight control? who? crew? who) a mission step failure occured. Similar to the original BARIS, where an explicit failure was shown and/or whether it's a critical failure or not, along with the "die roll" results (see attached file).
Would add a bit of immersion, too, I think. :)

I totally agree, and was supposing it was one of the planned features.

BTW, this is quite an horrible death.

I'm with you. For me step failure screen is "must be" :) like failure animation ;)

I assume this is planned, it's an obvious inclusion that is currently absent, I wouldn't worry about simple stuff like this. Its gotta come in eventually :D
