limber double move

Post by deadtorius »

Another odd situation in one of our games this weekend.
French gun starts outside 6MU of my troops. Limbers up facing directly away from me. Wants to make a second move, but since it has suddenly gotten twice as long it is now within 6 MU of my troops. Would the second move be disqualified since part of the move now starts within 6 MU of enemy?

We rolled a die and the dice Gods said it was not allowed

It shouldn't be counted as closer to enemy simply because of the limber base. What should have happened was I needed to be careful and when the limber base was placed down, the edge that was closest to enemy should have been the back edge of the limber.
