Assaulting in Column? formation after combat

Post by pugsville »

A follow on from assaulting across bridges.

I assault in column win the combat is the unit still in column?
If the units successfully recovers can it change to tactical?
Or are you in March Column till your next move phase when you can change formation normally.

Likewise if assaulting in March column and repulsed losing combat and you make a outcome backwards are you still in march column?

I think you would remain in column in both cases. You can't reform until your next turn,
Educated guess since the rules don't specifically say anything on this topic.
