Game hangs

Played the entire campaign as the Axis with not any problems.

Playing as the Allies, the game has hung on the attached turn. Even if I let the game sit for a long time (like an hour+) the turn will not progress.

If there is anything you can do to fix the save, so I can continue, it would be great.

One other oddity in the game that is attached is that Germany declared war on Sweden The turn after they went to war on Russia. Not sure if that has anything to do with the game hanging, but thought you should know.

I am running the 3.0 version with a Win 7 64 bit PC. However, since I played through the entire game once, with no issues, I do not think it is my PC that is the issue

The issue of Germany declaring war on Sweden could certainly be addressed if the developers wanted to, I had pointed that out in a previous thread. If you read the big 600 page manual for GS, you will see how the game was edited to prevent Germany from declaring war on Switzerland. This same change could be used for Sweden it seems.

But I doubt this is related to the game hanging up.
