Stockport Pick'n'Mix 2013 December 14th&15th

My organisation is getting worse, I have told a number of people when the Pick'n'Mix will be but have not actually posted anything on any forums.
I will be running the Pick'n'Mix again this year, same location, same format slightly later date I am afraid. Once again this event will feature the only edible prizes on the tournament circuit as well as plenty of other prize support.

Venue: North West Gaming Centre - 1st Floor, Hallam Business Centre, Hallam Street, Stockport SK2 6PT
Date: 14th and/or 15th of December
Format: Two one day three game tournaments. Prizes for the winners each day and a prize for the overall winner for the weekend
Timetable: 9:00-9:30 registration, 9:30-12:00 game 1, 12:45-15:15 game 2, 15:30-18:00 game 3
Entry cost: £10 per person per day, juniors free
Periods:

FoG: 15mm Ancients - Both days Saturday, any army up to 1000AD, Sunday any army from 500AD, 650 points, 5' by 3' tables
DBMM: 15mm Ancients - 240 points - 4 by 3 tables Saturday - from 500 BC to 1000 AD; Sunday - from 500 AD to 1500 AD.
Flames of War: 1500 points, at least one day Late War, the other day will be either Early, Mid or Late depending on player preferences.
FoG: 15mm Renaissance - one or both days depending on entries
FoG: 25mm Ancients - 650 points, 6' by 3' tables
I would like to see if I can get SAGA or Bolt Action on board but that depends on entries.

Hi Hammy, great to see this is going ahead.

Please put me down for Fog R for both days if available.

Otherwise, by then I'll be old enough for Saga, but I'd need to borrow an army.

If anyone else is interested, I'd be up for Ronin.

Is there a hotel deal this year? The Premier Inn is showing a minimum rate of £63.

There may still be a deal at the Britannia if you call and give them the code 'Wargames', Darran is getting no clear response but it could work.

I would also suggest you check out the Alma Lodge and Davenport Park Hotel. They are just down the A6 from the venue.

We plan to be there, even though I still don't have a holidays left. For those thinking its to far we will be going up from Oxford Friday pm and coming back Sunday evening and back to work for 7-30am Monday

Phil Powell posted eariler in this thread but has not sent a list yet.

Fraser Green (one of the Stockport locals) is interested in the Sunday comp.

Will there be more Fog:R players than FoG:AM??
