I just finished my first 385 turn game. According to the AI I lost do to another faction getting a scientific win.
In my game I presently hold most of the map.
The Imperium which I played has the most experienced and tech advanced units deployed.
I got the Orbital cannon and a ton of nukes!
So how did I lose to some little faction that is supposed to be more advanced than me?
If I had spies I would know how far ahead or close to winning conditions the enemy was.
Infiltrators could have planted nukes in his cities.
Set biologicals on the enemy cities and such.
I still going to continue and see if I can erase the winner faction from the planet.
But those are some of the things I observed.
Two other minute details.
I captured a queen, how come I could not also capture the hive with the queen and breed my own xenos?
I think that maybe a hall of fame that keeps the score of the faction would be nice to see how well I did when I play again..
thanks all
Good game

Re: Where is the Spying, Infiltration and Sabotage
I just finished my game by blasting the "Winner" cities with nukes and then mopping up his forces.
For having won the game by tech advantage none of the AI troops matched the firepower or experience of my Imperium troops.
So over all I am headed to start the new beta update in a huge map and see what happens.
None the less, I still wish there was a unit designed for spying and sabotage.

I second this suggestion really. Same here with my first game... I was expecting to steal some tech as the Imperium from more tech-oriented civs.beanwarrior wrote:I just finished my game by blasting the "Winner" cities with nukes and then mopping up his forces.

I also note these issues, and add to that unable to compare my faction with the progression of others. I see in the diplomacy screen there are "dots" beside other factions presumably indicating their advancement in those areas, but no note of my faction or how many "dots" I currently hold.
