Need license code for update

I downloaded the commander:EaW but when I try to install the update patch it asks me for a license serial number that I do not have.

Sorry you are having problems. Where did you buy the game? Make sure you download the correct patch for your version as each country has its own publisher & installer.

I bought it directly from yall and downloaded it via the digital river stuff. I have the invoice and reciept. The game came up fine and is running but when I downloaded the patch and started the patch install it asked me for a serial number; says it should be on the cd or invoice) I dont have a cd and there is no serial number on the invoice....just an order number and customer number, neither of which work.

ok, based on your comments I grabbed the "slitherine" patch instead of the "matrix" patch and that did it.
