PC: Rotate Map Without Keyboard?

Hello, when in 3D view mode, is it possible to rotate the map without using the arrow keys on the keyboard? I didn't see this in the manual or forums, wondering if possible....cheers.

And more abstractly, on any of the platforms, is there a way to rotate the map when in aerial view?

You can rotate the map using Q and E if I recall correctly.

What I meant was if the map could be rotated without the keyboard at all. Only the mouse. (I am asking this from the PC perspective with a 3 button mouse). Currently in 3D view, the map scrolls if you move the mouse in any particular direction across the map. And you can zoom in and out with the scroll wheel. However it would be great to use a mouse button combo to adjust 360 degree angle of the view (i.e. hold right button and engage scroll wheel to rotate the map or double click the scroll wheel to jump between unmoved units, and so on...).

And please excuse me if I am posting these questions in the wrong sub-forum, as I am thoroughly playing the Rommel beta (and the overall game a little too obsessively ) yet I have a lot of feedback on overall gameplay and functionality vs. actual issues, observations with the new maps, campaigns, unit properties, etc. and I don't want to post this feedback in the beta forum where it isn't really applicable nor in the tech support area where I am not experiencing actual errors with the game.

Another example on my short list: personally I think the zooming is way to extreme in the wrong direction. Meaning, you can zoom in very close to where only a couple of squares can fill most of the screen, yet there doesn't seem to be a super far out aerial view in 3D mode or aerial view itself where one can see the entire map (kinda like the far out strategic map view/screen in Panzer Corps) that would be sweet....

You can disable the zoom limits by adding

NoZoomLimit 1

to your user.txt file. You can now zoom out as far as you like, although you will (of course) see the edges of the map.

I'll add keyboard-free rotation to our wishlist for BA2.
