charged frag unit

Hello,

when a unit is frag and being charged, it must take a test.
What if the charge is intercepted ?
Do they still take the test ? even if not contacted at all ?

the rules says fragmented unit must test if it is being charged by enemy other than ligth foot so the fragmented battle group must test even if he is not contacted by the battle charging him but intercepted during his charge ;
