Late game tax slider lag

Not sure if anyone else experiencing this, but late game lag graphics side on the Economic panel.

Have included logs and savegame for reference - if anyone wants to check a LOT of late game tech / research, go for it as well.

Using laptop specs:
Dell Latitude E6530
Intel core i7-3520M CPU @ 2.9HGhz (quad core, 3rd gen)
Graphics - nVidia NVS 5200M (1GB GDDR ram)
System RAM: 8.0 GB (DDR3-1600MHz SDRAM (2 sticks of 4GB ea), 7.88GB usable
Windows 7 Ultimatem 64bit OS
HDD: 750GB @ 7200 RPM
DirectX version 11

Let me know if you need more info. Graphics went from very smooth to lagging badly - I clicked one time on tax rate up, and went from 25% to 50% as it lagged. And each move it did on its own was showing the background screen moving like clouds during a turn or something.
