Allied Corps logo feedback?

Maybe it's to soon but after looking at the screenshots and trailer for Allied Corps it will have it's own theme but will still be using the same Panzer Corps logo so I thought I could fix that by making an original logo for AC. For anyone that's interested let me know what you think. If everyone likes it I could add it in all the screens like the campaign selection screen along with the scenario maps and also use the insignia for the headbase, it still needs a little more work though. Maybe it's to stylish for the game? I should probably mention that part of the ribbon but not all of it was taken from El Condoro's Maelstrom (US campaign) mod, hopefully he doesn't mind. All the rest is my own creation. The insignia in the middle is a US army general staff branch insignia.

Anyway after doing that historical flag and insignia mod for Panzer Corps I'm sick of swastikas and want to do something for the Allies.

Sorry, Scott, but I think it's too US. Allied Corps have British and US units.

Scott; I agree with VP but a suggestion would be to replace the eagle and blue/gold head piece with unfurled US and British flags.

I'll see if I can up with something more balanced for both British and US. I admit I was inspired to do something a little patriotic, my father passed away from cancer about a year ago and he was a Vietnam Vet.

Scott; Sorry about your loss. I am a Vietnam Era vet and was a Navigator/Bombardier on B-52's over there in 1972.

My father joined the Army in 1968 serving in the 25th Inf. Div. and was a combat engineer in Co. B of the 65th Engineer Bn. He was awarded a Bronze Star and Purple Heart. He's the whole reason I got into military history. My grandfather also served in WWII in the Pacific.

When I look at your badge, the eagle in the centre reminds me of a very fitting type of unit: the Eagle Squadrons, American volunteers who fought in RAF squadrons. Their general patch was a similar eagle, the RAF history page has some images. http://www.rafmuseum.org.uk/research/on ... drons.aspx

Sorry to hear about your loss, Scott. Less than two years ago I also endured a similar ordeal with my mother.

Thanks everyone As for the logo I'll see what I can do but it has to look right. Maybe two insignias one for UK and US but making this stuff is a pain sometimes. All the artwork is done with gimp and various plugins I find on the internet and also watching tutorials, god if only I could get a full time job doing this.
