missing units

Hi, I am now up to the defence of El-Alamein and I am enjoying the game so far. However, I have been advised of several new units available for selection and when I go to look at them, they aren't there. These appear to be US units such as the Sherman and there is no US flag to enable me to view/select these units. Is this intentional due to the US not been at Alamein and will they become available once US units join the campaign?

uran21: Some general informations about the campaign. This campaign is made for British and American units. Americans will join in Tunisia and will have separate entry point at Torch. At this point game gives info messages about US equipment because they are listed as core units in campaign file but in the future this will be filtered out as well as US elite units until they join the fight.
