How long does Car Primer Take to Dry?

Post by Eques »

I have utilised a spare can of Holts Auto Primer on my latest figures but the instructions are unclear on how long it takes to dry (they are generic instructions covering both the primer and the colour :? )

Does anyone know how long before I can paint?

Thanks

You'd probably be best leaving it overnight.

Hi ,

if you use a hairdryer like I do, it will take only few hours 2 or 3 not much, just to let the smell disappear from the figures and you 'll have them ready for painting;

Be seeing you;-)

Hi Phil,

imagine just a minute the face of the cashier when I came with an hairdryer in front of her, I think she thought it was a joke :wink: and of course I didn't say to her that I needed an Hairdryer to paint miniatures :wink:

Cheers

Of course there is always the extremely effective pickup line 'not all hair is visible when clothed' (in French of course)
