Recovering a Broken Self-supported Large Conscript Unit

Post by Chasseur »

Hi,

What happens to the number of dice for recovery when a Large Conscript unit is which has been in self-supported formation is Broken?
Is a Broken unit a "mob" and therefore they do not count self-supported, therefore only get 1 D6 for recovery?

Cheers,
John Shaw

Self-support is for combat purposes. Conscripts must have a friendly unit to rear to be supported and gain the extra die.

alas a conscript unit that breaks only gets a single die to attempt to rally. Since they have broken and are running away its going to be tough to get a friendly unit into a rear support position to try and get an extra die for the recovery. Unless you are lucky enough to have a charismatic commander who is attempting to rally with the unit, then they get a second die.

Self support is only for combat purposes and adds combat dice for rear support only.
