Favorite Hardware Gadgets for playing PC

Wanted to start a thread regarding favorite hardware to play PC with. Please respond with your favorites.

I still play in my basic dell wide screen laptop, but want to enhance the experience. My ideas are as follows

1) HDMI cable to play on my LCD widescreen TV
2) Wireless keyboard in conjunction with LCD TV
3) Lastly been following the deducter youtube playthroughs. In his videos he seems to easily be able to shuttle up and down and left and right on the map. I'm wondering he is using a trackball or something like that.

Anxious for ideas.

I play on LCD TV 42'. I also have wireless keyboard and mouse. Basically I'm playing from semi laying position on my couch. and boy is it nice It aslo enhances experience as you are more relaxed, you see units very clearlty and are less prone to sitting backpain or eye blurring due to naturaly long battles.

All in all it is a much better experience than playing on desktop or laptop
