My impression of the game 29/03/13 v 0.11.0

hi after playing it yesterday and today i now have an impression on the games current state.

first lets start off with the things that i believe could be improved in my option of course:-

1) the AI could still use some work and im sure this will be a long process until its right.
a) the biggest thing it dose wrong is it over extends its self expanding like a plague and being unable to defend its self as a result and also runs out of resources as a result of it.
b) the second biggest thing is that the ai builds city's right next to other factions borders this is a weakness as it leaves it self open to hostility's from the new faction even if it has no intention of invading.
b) the third biggest thing is it expands really close together and doesn't think about future expansion of there city's

2) the xeno life forms are too weak and don't really cause much problems and need to be able to spread quickly as this is their world at the moment it seems like there foreign objects to the planet.

3) the Huge world isn't very big i think it could use a big size increase if it is working as intended.

4) the ability to switch something like auto governors with modes like mining, agriculture, research, production/military, balanced or even 2 or 3 at some time this would help free up time for you do other stuff and would help multiplayer alot for those who want a little shorter games.

5) this one isn't so important but saves alot of time the creation of an exportation AI that can be used by the player and the AI.


Now on to the things i liked so far so the more positives :) :-

1) the best thing i have liked so far was the tech tree its a realy good idea to have a more random tech tree still probily needing some more tweaks and more randomness but its looking really good so far.

2) the aesthetics are quite good so far and i hope to see some expansion into it at a later date to make the planet more alien as its very Terran like at the moment

3) the games economical design is really good in my option having food as a resource's and having grouth the way it is give a sense of logistics the the sid meires stuff which is very basic and has never shown it to have any.


i will share any ideas for expanding the game later when i have time.
