Missing V weapons in the new Grand West

Hi
I have a clean install ( 3 times the newest patch )
no cheat, modifications or similar added to the game its 100 % clean.

and yet i cannot see V1 bombers in the first scenario from the campaign and further in i fail because the non existing V1 and V2s cannot be moved since they are not there

please advise and please dont tell me to reinsall the entire game and all added campaigns since it will take too long

That seems to be a corrupted installation. So probably you'll have to install everything again.
However I've asked the dev to take a look at this and see if he has any different suggestion.
Let's wait and see what he has to tell.

thanks Vpaulus the game has worked sofar flawlessly. I dont see the V weapons if is start with my "old" core units or the preset units.
ive tried to set difficulty but even that doesnt change that my V weapons are missing

I had the same problem.

Maybe the way i solved it works for you too.

You have to make TWO installations: Patch 1.13 and GC45 West.

I made only one installation: GC45 West.
Somehow I managed not to install the patch to bring up PC to version 1.13.
(As far as i can remember i cancelled one installation, cause i was thinking i accidently double-started it.)

PC was still an older version. You can check this on the bottom/left on the startscreen.

I inserted the installation-disc another time and installed the patch 1.13.
(I also installed GC 45 West another time after i deleted the whole GC45 West-file. But i doubt that this was necessary and i do not recommend deleting any files by yourself.)

Now everything runs fine.

Yes, it is of course useful to check game version and make sure it is 1.13. Without this V weapons will not work.

If the version is correct, you can check a few other things.
- If you start the '45 West campaign and hover any hex where V-units are supposed to be (e. g. 27,1 and 28,2), will you see them in the UI sidebar?
- If you use "all eqp" cheat code, will you see then in the ourchase list (they are in german tactical bomber section)?
- Do you have V-weapons in eqp file? (just open Data/equipment.pzeqp in Notepad and look for V1)
- Do you have units icons installed? (check Graphics/Units folder, the file is V1.png)
