Team from Great Britain assembled. We look forward to crossing swords with our international brethren in September.
Somewhat amusingly, I actually qualified to play for the US team in Lisbon as well. Despite the howls of outrage and incentives offered by the GB team for me to play for the US I felt honour bound to play for the GB team.

For those for whom English is not their first language may I translate...
'Despite the howls of outrage and incentives offered by the GB team for me to play for the US I felt honour bound to play for the GB team'
can otherwise be read as
'Despite the howls of outrage and incentives offered by the GB team for me to play for the US, the US team offered bigger incentives not to play for the US so I felt honour bound to play for the GB team'...

Why let the facts spoil a good story Dan?
But even though he didn't officially qualify he was in the winning qualification team and we don't mind if you bend the rules.
