So far an interesting game. My first impression is that the art is well done with the exception of the blurred armored figure in the foreground. I thought the rest of the art in the background was well conceived and kept my interest for a moment or two but the armored figure was distorted enough to throw me off. I find that the menus were easy to navigate and my first five minute impression, I want to see how well this AI works and if the game includes any unique mechanics. The game seems to be graphically good for the genre and I am still impressed, at the five minute mark with the Single Player game. I thought this would be good place to start. (Aside: My wife passing by saw the maps and the game name and remarked that it looked "cool" and she "likes the name.") The game was easily understandable for those who have played hexed turn based games. It took me a few minutes to figure out how to move my military unit (aside: I kept clicking the move option on the unit menu .. doh) and a few to read my research options. I had to blindly guess which to take. Could an research description be embedded in each research card? If only the research cards for options only one level up were visible then it will keep the player a sense of direction with out spoil what later options might open up. Other notes are the graphics remain good to excellent and the fonts are easily read. I can see how the player tutorial might begin to take shape. Good work, Devs. I will post after my 1st hour of game play.
