Multiplayer Health

I am considering buying this game for the iPad. I am a big fan of turn-based games and async multiplayer is the bees knees, but before I make the big $19.99 jump into the BA pool I wanted to check up on the multiplayer health of this game. The async multiplayer is one of the main reasons I'll be buying this game, and I want to make sure that there is a healthy pool of people who play the multiplayer. So, my question is, how many people actually play this in multiplayer? Is it a giant pool, where I will rarely find myself waiting for a match with many players? Or is it a bit anemic where I'll find myself playing the same 5 guys over and over?

Looks like a super fantastic game, so the questions isn't a knock against it or anything, but just want to be sure before I plunk down the cash.

Well, anecdotal evidence suggests that open challenges get snapped up almost instantly, so I don't think you will have trouble getting a game . There are about 3000 turns listed on the server currently, so that's a lot of people playing a lot of games!

As a MP with the same concerns (but one that has been playing this MP game for some time now),...I am happy to report that there are always new players offering or accepting new games.
The new players then become better players,..and then the better players become advanced,...and so on.
