Sudden Death Storm of Arrows Competition

Gday all
I am thinking of running a Knockout type tournement while we wait for FOg Unity to be released. Armies will be any from Storm of Arrows and 500pt. The rules are simple you lose your out and winners progress on to the next stage.Time allotted for each round will be 2 weeks which i feel is ample time to finish a game for those dedicated to a competition.I will put a more in depth rules of tournement up as i get players interested.So if you are interested let me know in this thread and we can get things going ASAP.Im looking for at least 16 players but more would be great. Ideally 32 would be even better.

Good man Rex Your in once we get enough players then we can start army selection. You can all choose whichever army you like from Storm of Arrows no restrictions here even the same army as another player selects.

Thanks Solly and PijusMagnificus that gives us 5 so far.I will give it until Sunday the 24th and see how many players we have if not enough i may use double life style tournement. I will explain how that works when the situation arises.So we need at laest another 3 players for that. Tell your mates guys as all are welcome here

I haven't really gotten to Storm of Arrows yet (I bought all the expansions in the same day) but I'm sure I can scrap together an army. Count me in.

We should be able to get to at least the 16 if we're patient. I think a bunch of the regulars are taking a break after last LOEG season.

Also, how will sign-up for armies work?

Ok you can choose any army you wish from Storm of arrows. I was going to wait until we had 16 players then everyone choose their armies but if you want to choose one now then go ahead 500pt and allies are allowed you can even choose the same army as some one else has picked. I would prefer if we all had different armies but theres no problems in players having the same army.

Ok we have 10 players which will make a good competion with 2 byes to sart with.I will be starting this competition as soon as everyone has selected their armies.

Rules will be as follows

Each player will choose a 500pt army from Storm of arrows. Game to be set to Fog of war and Double moves enabled.Allies can be used and same armies may be selected.
In the situation of a draw there will be no replay therefore the player with the highest casualties inflicted on his/her opponent will be the winner.Example PlayerA 35/34 player B 42/38. Player A wins by inflicting more casualties.Time allowed per round is 2 weeks after this the player with most casualties inflicted on their opponent will be deemed the winner.Please contact me if you are having trouble fullfilling the Deadline or an opponent has gone AWOL.This is an elimination Competition so if you lose thats it.

There it is if you can now begin to choose your armies and i will record them in another thread where results are to be recorded by the winners.
