Fields of Glory on MacBook Air

Has anyone tried Fields of Glory on a MBA? How does it play?

Is there a demo of Fields of Glory for Mac?
(I ask because I don't want to have the same issue I had with Battle Academy: The shading on terrain and units was deeply blackened, making some areas almost impossible to make out. This resulted in me having to buy the game and expansions a second time, so I could play it properly on the iPad - this was never resolved for me and at least 2 others who posted similar issues)

There is no reason why it wouldn't work but we're nearer a major re release of the game so best to wait until then if you are concerned. BA has a demo but FoG doesn't.
