Got my book in the mail yesterday (Ohio USA). Weird, it was shipped from Oregon USA??? But it arrived in pristine condition, no dents or crinkled corners. It was packed in cardboard.

Overall I am very pleased with the book, and thanks for providing us an old-fashioned option for V2.

If the production of V1 was a "10" ... then I would give V2 a good "8+". And the QRS in the back of V2 is much better organized!! I am looking forward to my first offical V2 game. I think a good choice for the first game will be Gallic vs LRR.

Thanks again for the work on the hard copy.

We have a warehouse in Germany and the US so it ships from the nearest location.

I received my copy last weekend and I am afraid that, while happy with the content, I am less than impressed by the quality. Maybe I have been unlucky but in the bulk of the Chapters the main heading colour seems to have bled over every page rendering the bullet points listed on the outer edge very hard to read and, in the case of the "Battle Groups" and JAP chapters, unreadable at a normal distance. I am in discussion with the support team but has anyone else had this problem?

I played V2 at Usk and enjoyed the experience as I feel the new version delivers a more interesting game but I am a little disappointed wit the presentation.

Cheers,

Simon Finney :?

No such problems with mine either. I find it easier to read the text than V1

However you are the second person to post here about poor print quality in the copy received.

The feedback from CLWC suggests that I am unlucky, reinforced by the above posts! The copy is certainly not unusable and I have no problem with the content but overall the quality and clarity is less than I would expect from a product with this price. I am awaiting a response from Customer Support.

After I sent my copy to Slitherine they agreed to replace it and the replacement is absolutely fine. Thanks to Christian in Customer Support!

We have found that a small number of copies have some blurring in the blue on some pages (it is very minor as we had to compare 2 copies side by side to see it). If you have a copy like this then let us know and we'll work out how to get you a replacement.

The printer has identified the issue and says it wont happen again in future but there may be a few copies already in circulation with this minor defect.
