Artillery/Air Strikes orientation question.

Post by butterforce »

Is there a way to change the orientation of artillery and aerial bombardments?

In some scenarios the field is a narrow corridor so to speak, yet the strikes are executed in a horizontal pattern compromising their true effectiveness. In the Lost Battalion mission for example, enemy forces advance up the un-scouted main road in a straight line yet the bombardments that can be called up occur perpendicular to the direction of this movement, lowering it's true effectiveness . I hope I've explained this correctly!

No, they are fixed in orientation. As you say, this can sometimes mean you need to be pretty careful in your deployment of them!
