Being a bit anal I wish they hadn't posted it in a jiffy bag so all the corners didn't get dinged

Still awaiting mine but from reading all the posts so far, I'm expecting some minor damage.

For £30, I would have expected "Amazon like" packaging - never have a problem there!

Mine has arrived, not perfect but in better condition than in the photo. However my damage was due to the post man forcing it through the letter box that was obviously not wide enough. The damage does not really concern me, as after two games it would be in the condition anyway.

Pop quiz.

Would you pay full price for a brand new car that had wear and tear? After all, it'll have wear and tear after a couple of drives anyway.

Accepting poor serviceand packaging is complicit in encouraging it.

I pay full price for miniatures that need flash and mould lubricant removing before I paint them.

But I agree, a jiffy bag is insufficient protection for a hardback book.

I have just been in touch with the warehouse, the books should be dispatched in a carddboard folder.
Can one of you who has received the book in a jiffy bag send me the details of your order so I can get to bottom of this
Email me of line

Mine came in a bag. I tried to send you a PM, but unless I'm looking at it wrong, the PM is sitting in the PM Outbox - it didn't send.

The pm will sit in the outbox until JD downloads it. I expect he will have a few.

To be fair he did ask for an email and not a PM. He responded to my email.

Most people will not have his e-mail address though.

Exactly, I had no idea how to email him since he didn't place the contact info in his post. Therefore a PM was the only option.

Quite. However, he only asked for one person to email him. And one has.
