German Mediterranean Division (SMS Goeben)

Post by Hott »

Unlike the beta version removed the battle cruiser Goeben and the cruiser Breslau(German cruiser in the Mediterranean Sea).
But these cruisers have played a major role in the battles on the Black Sea.
Especially since the game does not implement fleet Turkey. And it was.

Goeben and Breslau

As Captain Rauf Bey and his men were on their way from Britain to Turkey on board Reşit Paşa, two German battle cruisers, Goeben and Breslau entered the Dardanelles. They were the German Navy's Mittelmeerdivision (Mediterranean Division) under the command of Admiral Wilhelm Souchon. These two warships were being pursued by the British fleet and had asked for permission to enter the Turkish straits.

Problem is that at the game's scale, even a single cruiser unit had a too big impact. Until we scale up the number of naval units anyway.

There is still an event around the Goeben and Breslua though, when you sail a German (or Austrian) naval unit through the dardanelles.

But what is the purpose of Russian Black Sea fleet in the game? Historically it was supposed to counter Turkish navy, but if game assumes that Turkey has no navy at all, why it is placed there at all?
Probably it is good idea to make Turkish cruiser unit aswell?

Please think the same way of the Turkish fleet-Turkish fleet was certainly not less than the Danish. The Danish cruiser presented!
1914 Turkish fleet list: http://www.turkeyswar.com/navy.html

Would also like to bring the ratio of battleships in 1914 : Best ratio in the game:

England 20 dreadnought+ 9 battle cruiser+ 45 old battleship=74 pcs 5 battleships
Germany 15 dreadnought+ 4 battle cruiser+ 22 old battleship=41 pcs 3 battleships
France 3 dreadnought + 20 old battleship=23 pcs 2 battleships
Austria-Hungary 4 dreadnought+9 old battleship=13 pcs 1 battleship
Russia 4 dreadnought+9 old battleship=13 pcs 1 battleship
