That's not correct. Early versions of vanilla from Slitherine aren't compatible with 2.1 PBEM.

You need a current Slitherine vanilla to add 2.1 too. Just ask them and they will point you to a site you can download it from.

I dont understand, who do I ask if not on the forum.

I bought the game new again 2 weeks ago, went to the current download page and downloaded GS 2.1 which doesn't work in PBeM.

its the vannila game 1.12 that you need a new copy of

email info@slitherine (or something like) to ask for the download

did you download a new 1.12 when you bought it? if you did then its your install not the version that is the problem
