Panzer Corp - How win Wassigny?

Grand Campaign 40 - I can never win Wassigny. What am I doing wrong? I capture the general by turn 10, and then stash him in tvervins in the Southeast corner, all but one unit survives, and it tells me I am defeated. Help?

This scenario has come up several times and while certainly challenging, it is by no means unbeatable.

Note, you have to move the captured French General to an evacuation hex, not just anywhere in the Southeast corner.

The German briefing seems to have a mistake here: it advises you wrongly to bring him to the very southwest of the map.

yep...I found out the hard way..lost three core INF units.....grrrr.....
