Shooting dice

Post by ravenflight »

Hi all,

I'm wondering how to count dice.

Lets say you have 2 BG's shooting at 1 BG at long range. The shooters have 5 bases of musket* and 1 base of pike. I see it as 5 dice. You count ALL the shooting dice and get 1:2, so 5. Correct?

If so, what happens if 1 is superior?

Correct - see page 120 3rd bullet which covers this. A mixed ability dice always shoots as the lowest ability, therefore in your example you would have 5 dice with 2 re-rolling 1's

How do you make half of 5 to be 5?

In the example there are 2 BGs shooting. Each gets 5 dice, so it's 10/2.
