V2 Bow* cost

Was the decision to reduce the cost for mounted Bow* intentionally dropped from the beta or was this missed as an oversight? It seemed like there was general agreement that the original Bow* price was too high as far as I saw.

I believe that changing points was dropped due to the publisher's (Osprey??) objectives. I'm guessing they didn't want all of those army lists books in stock made obsolete but we were only told that it was "off the table". It was disappointing for everyone - authors included - as it would have been the easy way to fix a few things.

I don't know if the decision to go the ebook route would have made any different or not to that decision but the "no points change" was made quite awhile before the "ebook decision". Seems, in this case, like we got the worse of both worlds - for the moment.
