New option in 1.11 --"Clean reserve after deploy"

Post by naturesheva »

As what was stated in for 1.11 updated:
Added new option to the Editor (Scenario Params, General tab): "Clean reserve after deploy". This allows you to design campaigns with part of the core force.

Can anyone help me to explain this a bit more, I cannot really understand the function for that option at the moment.

Many thanks!

I bet you haven't played the new DLC 42-43 east yet? You can start it with a saved core, but you get limited slots and after a turn you lose the remaining core units permanently and your prestige is reset.

A quick remark here: this option does NOT reset your prestige. In GC 42-43 prestige wipe is done by the good old prestige action.

So, this option does just what it says - wipes your reserve after deploy phase is finished and the player hits "End Turn". This is useful when you want to truncate player's core to a certain size at various points in the campaign, while giving him the choice of what units exactly he will keep.
