Game is in shadows (a texture problem?)

I have a Mid-2011 Macbook Air (1.8G processor, 4G memory, 348mb graphics). The game worked perfectly for a while, but suddenly it got an odd display problem: everything is in shadows. (See attached screen shot.) Is there a texture that's not loading? I've tried to delete and uninstall it, but I'm not sure I was completely able to do that since my registration information was still active… Suggestions?

Sorry you are having problems. Have you tried changing the settings on the launcher? Have you installed any driver updates recently? If it used to work and now doesn't the cause must be related to a change on your Mac so its just working out what.

Nothing I can think of except for the update to Lion - but I did the same on other computers and it hasn't had an impact. Nor do other games have the same problem. … I guess you have no idea, sigh.

This is a known issue with the video drivers on those specific Macbook Air models. I've attempted to find a solution, but they appear to just be broken for that path . My guess is that the older drivers you had on the prior version of OSX were fine, and updating includes the latest drivers, which are broken. And I doubt the older drivers would run with Lion (even if you wanted to go through the pain of trying to install them).

Sorry I can't be of more help - broken drivers are a bane of my existence...

I'm not on the Air, but a late 2011 Macbook pro and I'm experiencing the same issue. I would probably have delayed purchase had I known his was an issue.

Actually, and this is kind of perverse, but I've gotten used to it. Maybe a bit too much time spent on airplanes??

We'll see if we can get it fixed. I might have to host some test versions as it is hard to get hold of these models to test on.
