(sorry if I repeat what others have said, but I can not read all the posts)
- In the moment is past the briefing could be putting a schematic map and pointed out the main points of attention. For example: "care to attack from the south" and there is an arrow showing movement. As a scheme football game that coaches do for their players;
- Also, before you start the battle, it would be really cool if it were demonstrated comparing their front line game and frontline real. This would give a comparison between the game and reality;
- After the briefing, could be placed on the schematic map real strategic move made ​​by the German army during the battle. That would compare the player to the general that commanded the army. would be really cool!

These suggestions can already be implemented but it is up to the scenario designer. For example, my Maelstrom campaign will have images in the briefings showing the general area of the scenario. DMP have implemented animated GIFs (I think they were GIFs anyway) in their briefings and given that the briefings and the pzloc (the screen that appears at the beginning of each turn) are html files you could implement all sorts of nifty things if you have the time and inclination to do so.
