Hi hammy

I may well be up for this. Just try and figure out how to get there. If it is a PITA will have to give it a miss.

What if you have a different comp.

Each player has to take along a different army. For example in the pc game, this happens. Players send in their choice of 3 armies, 1st choice, 2nd etc. If some players have the same 1st choice, the player with the lower ranking will have preference. So if there are 12 players each will have a different army.

And or, to make it more difficult for you. Players bring in armies but there is a draw on who uses what armies. Next round, a draw again etc.

This of course might be impossible as some of us only have one army.

I'll have to think on some specific time periods and pm you some ideas.

What is total pts and table size?

Good spot on the points and such Eric :)

FoG:A and FoG:R 15mm: 15mm, 650 points, 5 by 3 tables, 2 1/2 hours a game

FoG:A 25mm: 600 points, 6 by 4 tables, 40mm MU, 2 1/2 hours a game

DBMM TBC but probably 240 points on smaller than usual tables.

My idea for one of the 15mm themes.
Its Manchester so:

Cottonopolis
Any army, any time but, No troops better armoured than protected. No Pikes

After my "accidental" trip up Canal Street last weekend I fear protection won't be enough, armoured only for me !!

Can I suggest the same FoGAM theme as last year, which was Saturday: Pre 1000ad, and Sunday: Post 500ad (thus allowing people to use the same army twice if they need to).

If you make the themes wide but different a lot of armies could be used in both.

My other idea was The APpennine Way
Armies from any date but must have Hilly or Mountain in their terrain choices and battles must be fought in hilly or mountain.

Armies from any date but must have Hilly or Mountain in their terrain choices and battles must be fought in hilly or mountain
and may not contain more than two instances of the letter "S" in any of the word in their name...

So I'm OK to describe my army as either " Schweiz", " Svizzera" or "Confoederatio Helvetica"

Could those who are intending attending please let me know either in this thread or by e-mail. I will post a list of who has indicated they are attending.

N.B. after commments from some 25mm players I have changed the 25mm format to 650 points but on a 6' by 3' table.
