syria scenario - AK

Hi,
Have I misunderstood the briefing?
After conquering the Aleppo airfield (marked "C") with the paratroopers, I waited for the agent promised to spawn. But nothing happens.
Clearing the airfield does not help. Moving the paratroopers back to Haifa (marked "A") was also the wrong interpretation.
So what am I doing wrong?
Help appreciated.

During the Beta the agent would appear as/ or in a Me110, I dont think it has changed in the released AK (havn't had a chance to play it yet :(.

Yeah the agent can be a bit hard to spot since it has the SE skin and it's not a ground unit. As far as I recall it spawns at the north hex, so make sure you don't have that occupied. For instance I once did not get the Spitfire from Malta since I accidently had the spawn point blocked.

I think I know the answer now. I was just too late. Tried again very early (3rd turn or so), and the agent showed up (in a Me110) as described. Dont know what is the longest time you can wait. Better hurry up.
You can try to get your paratroopers back into air one by one, but I think this makes not much sense. Upgrade them back to full strength if necessary.

In my second go at this map I left the paratroopers hanging out over the sea hexes until my core had cleared the airfield area. I had about five turns left when I took the airfield and you only need three to make the journey back with the Me110.
