Italian equipment Icons
Anyone working on them?
Re: Italian equipment Icons
Greetings Carius, how is your apothecary doing?
I'm afraid I can neither confirm nor deny anything I might be working on until you further specify your request. In normal words, what are you looking for? I am horrible at the 3D icons which are used in the unit stats screen, but I am currently trying my hand at bashing together some unit graphics which are used on the map by virtue of having too much time, and a desire to implement some units which did not come with the stock game. I'm only doing a couple of simple graphic swaps that can be modelled by editing the stock graphic files, so they will look a little bit 'stock', if you know what I mean.
But since I'm interested in trying to see if I can bodge together some graphics for Italian units that are not yet represented, do you have anything specific in mind?
To show you something which has, regrettably, only a small chance of me trying to model, what are your thoughts about this experimental but not fictional Italian unit pictured in this thread? http://italie1935-45.forumactif.org/t92 ... antiaerien
Some simple things will probably get done, like the flame-thrower version of the L3/35, since that consists of just increasing the size of the barrel and some stats. and presto, a 'new' Italian unit. Things like that will get done, but I'm not sure if this it what you wanted?

Old Timer Panzer General fan. Maybe a Volksturm soldier now. Did they let Volksturm drive Panzers?

Here's the equipment data:

A little more expensive 55, less movement 7 and fuel 78, +1 on Air defense

Hey, you know when I use this truck, it is a "donation" from the Italians who left Russia. The cost to take possession is less of course, but overall in the scheme of things the cost is higher due to the Italians leaving.

I've been thinking of making it a heavy truck where you need it to use with the Italian 105 MM
