InGame Update Error

Guys,

After something like 4hrs+ letting the game update itself through the matrixupdate, I get this:



Surely the game should be able to update itself more quickly but more importantly correctly. Do I let it run for another 4hrs+ downloading only to get the same error msg again?

When I go to "click here" to get it directly, the download is showing 2.5hrs or so. Oiiii!

The servers are overloaded. The server is the same for automatic as for offline.
So please be patient, I'm sure there will be other mirrors soon.

I know its frustrating but the problem is tens of thousands of people trying to download the file at the same time. We just dont have anything else that gets this kind of demand and our serverscan't cope. We'll keep trying to see if we can do anythign to cope but PzC patches are just so popular its hard to make it work seamlessly.

It must be nice to have your hard work appreciated. Sounds like PC is still very popular and the relative silence on the boards here was not an indication of dwindling player base. I am happy the game is still popular which hopefully guarantees it's further development and maybe an even better successor.

P.S: The gamefront mirror is working at around 2 Mb/sec which is really fast.
